Cysts sometimes can rupture and you may have symptoms of intense lower abdominal pain, as well as, vomiting, nausea, and weakness. A cyst can form what is called a stem and these can become twisted causing pain, and cuts off normal blood flow. This too adds burns of pain.

Cyst can also cause other symptoms and can press on the rectum leading to constipation or on the bladder creating an urge to urinate. You should not ignore any of these symptoms as they could also be the signs of a gastrointestinal disturbance or any bladder infection.

Ovarian cysts can cause irregular periods in a condition called polycystic ovaries whereby the hormonal system regulating the ovaries is disturbed and may cause to form a large number of cysts. Some women also face trouble in pregnancy.

There are different treatments for ovarian cysts depending on their diagnosis. In some cases hormones are used to help shrink the cyst. Natural remedies are used to help reverse and prevent a cyst from returning and is serious cases surgery is required. In most situations a cyst will go away on it own.
